This Mashtots Avenue used to call as the Lenin Avenue from the year 1924 till the year 1990.

Garni
Garni is one of the important villages in the Kotayk Province of the nation Armenia. The village is renowned for its Temple of Garni which is the only surviving Greco-Roman monument in Armenia best known for its sculpture. Geghard is monastery from the medieval period sculpted out of the adjacent rocky mountain, and it is a UNESCO Heritage Site. Havuts Tar is another medieval monastery located in the bank of Azat River.
